I couldn't make it to this past week's annual Athens, GA music and arts festival ATHFEST. I was pretty devastated, but I had my own personal Athens music party coming from my speakers this weekend. One of the more popular bands to come out of Athens is Modern Skirts. Check out this week's eargasm "Soft Pedals" from their sophomore album All Of Us In Our Night.

I personally dig their first album Catalogue of Generous Men more, but I like they are experimenting more away from their usual pop sound.
